BRING BACK THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE

BRING BACK THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE

Dental Bridge

A Dental Bridge is a fixed dental restoration which is used to replace a missing tooth (or several teeth) by joining an artificial tooth permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants. A Dental Bridge is made of two crowns for the teeth on both side of the gap – these two anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth.

BENEFITS OF HAVING

DENTAL BRIDGE

Type of dental Bridge

TRADITIONAL BRIDGES

A traditional bridge is where a crown is created for the tooth or the implant on the either side of the missing teeth, with an artificial tooth in between. As the most common type of bridge, the traditional bridges are made of metal or ceramics or porcelain-fused materials.

CANTILEVER BRIDGES

This treatment is provided if you have adjacent teeth on only one side of the missing teeth or tooth. However, this treatment is not suggested for the back of the mouth where it can place excessive force on other teeth and cause damage.

MARYLAND BONDED BRIDGES

These bridges are made of plastic teeth and gums that are supported by a metal framework. The metal wings on each side of the bridge are bonded to your existing teeth.
